Hello, all....

I know I have posted this before but it is still an issue and I need to get
this fixed.

I load NAL explorer from the container login script that all my users are
in. I know that this is not the "preferred" method but this is supposed to
be a valid way of doing this and we have what we think is a valid reason for
loading NAL explorer in this manner. The problem is that the NAL Explorer
doesn't always run.

Here is the line in the login script:

@%ProgramFiles\Novell\ZENWorks\NalView.exe /ns /r

The server involved is a NetWare 6.5 SP6 running ZENworks 7.0 SP1 HP6, but
most of the workstations are running the agent for 6.5 SP2. My desktop is
one of the few running the 7.x version of the Desktop Management Agent

Sometimes it does run but other times it doesn't. The users/workstations
involved are inconsistent. Someone who has it run fine one day may have it
not work the next and then it runs fine the next day. Many times, if the
user launches the Application Explorer from the menu, it runs fine. And once
in a blue moon, running from the menu doesn't work and the user has to
reboot to get the NAL Explorer running again. We have seen this happen with
both the 6.5 and the 7.0 desktop management agents.

I have the gut feeling that this is possibly a timing issue so I have
experimented with the /time parameter. I have included a delay as long as
120 seconds, but it doesn't appear to be making a difference.

Can someone help me out here??

Thanks in advance.
