Hi Everybody,

Just a short question I was unable to find an answer to.

How do you compile your one kernel for PXE (ZEN 7)?

The regular "Shipped by Novell ZEN" kernel is as follows:

linux: Linux/x86 Kernel, Setup Version 0x203, bzImage, Version
2.6.5-7.191-default (geeko@buil, RO-rootFS, root_dev 0x805, Normal VGA

I tried to compile the kernel sources for 2.6.15.1 but I end up with:

vmlinux: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV),
statically linked, not stripped

....which answers with ". No boot signature (55,AA). It's not a kernel" when
called upon from ZENworks(Start Maintenance Mode ZEN Imaging).

I think I'm missing something obvious but I just don't get it.

Thanks for the help

Philipp
