We have about 200 computers built with an MSI-RS480M2-IL motherboard using
SATA hard drives. If we disable the ACPI within the BIOS, using the bootcd
and installing the zen partition is no problem. If the ACPI is enabled the
bootcd hangs on detecting hardware. We need to image the workstations with
Windows XP and without the ACPI enabled Windows XP preforms poorly
especially on startup/shutdown. Is there a way to disable the zen partition
from recognizing ACPI upon startup?
