I've gotten the hotpatch and am currently using the initrd file that
comes with this patch. It works fine on our Dell 745's. The issue I'm
having is I go into the initrd file to modify one file and add another
file in the bin directory. I do this on my Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop
10 box. The kernel is currently at

I use the following command after gunzip:

cpio -idmuv < initrd

I then go in and do what I need. I then do the following command:

find . | cpio -o -H newc > initrd

I then gzip it back up.

When I try to use this file in PXE, it comes up with a Kernel Panic.
What could be causing this? Please help.
