We have an HPDC7600 with an Intel PCI card and its onboard Broadcom NIC.
When I boot with the HP4CD the PCI NIC is eth0 and is active but the
onboard NIC is not active. I do a hwinfo --netcard and it tells me a
driver activation cmd: "modprobe tg3" After I type that in at the bash
prompt, I type hwinfo --netcard and now the onboard NIC is eth1 and
active. I do my ifconfig to assign the address netmask and gateway and
then I am able to image using the onboard NIC. Is there anyway to scipt
these commands so we don't have to type these commands in all the time?
Is there a place in the settings.txt to put these commands?
