I just received a new Dell Latitude D830 and when trying to image using
the bootcd.iso from Zen 7 SP1, I get the dreaded no network device
detected error. I have reviewed the tids on how to add a nic driver to the
boot cd. However, broadcom only provides source and source rpm for their
drivers and I don't think the bootcd.iso has the ability to run make.

I don't see how I can get the driver built for this kernel (the broadcom
documention says it is alreay built into the latest 2.6 kernel by the
way) without setting up a system, installing the identical kernel version,
making the driver, and then adding it to the bootcd.iso.

Please tell me there is another way.
