We Currently have Zenworks 4.01 on Netware 5.1 sp7.
We will be setting up a new server and retiring the old hardware platform.
The plan is to put in a new server platform running Netware 6.5 Sp5 and
Edirectory 8.8.
We will then install Zenworks 7 Sp1 on the new server.
My concern is migrating our legacy Zenworks 4.01 environment to the new
Zenworks 7 environment.
We have the luxury of just scrapping the old Zen 4 solution and create
everything new with Zen 7.
I would rather do that than risk any "problems" being migrated from Zen 4
to Zen 7.
What would you suggest, from a best practices path?
It will take more effort to start over and re-create everything but it
would be well worth it just to spare any question of some glitch or legacy
snafu haunting us down the road.
On the other hand, if it makes no difference and the 4.01 to 7 upgrade is
bullet proof it would safe me a lot of work.
