I applied hot patch 2 to my Zen 7sp1 server. Since then I have been
observing the following issues with workstation import.

The import log has been showing many exceptions like the following:

Feb 1, 2007 8:49:39 AM java.io.IOException: Socket is not connected
Feb 1, 2007 8:49:39 AM java.io.IOException: Socket is not connected
Feb 1, 2007 8:49:39 AM java.io.IOException: Socket is not connected
Feb 1, 2007 8:49:39 AM java.io.IOException: Socket is not connected

I've never seen this before and haven't had any luck trying to find any
info on it.

Also since this update we've been having some issues with remote control
not working on newly imported objects. Console One will report that the
workstation object is invalid. This doesn't happen on all workstations
though. Is there perhapes a problem if the workstation is running an
older Zen agent as I'm not 100% sure that all of workstations are using
the 7 agent.

Also inside of our workstation OU we have additional OU's one for each of
our buildings. Normally prior to this update a workstation will import to
the specified ou, then inside console one we can move it to one of the
building ou's then once the workstation has been rebooted the object is
valid again (I've never been 100% sure if this is the correct way to do
this but it has worked for us for the past 3 years). Anyhow this no
longer seems to work. What is happening is after we move the object to
another OU the object becomes invalid, but after a reboot it is still
invalid, and after another reboot or two it will be reimported to the OU
specified in the import policy.

Any help appreciated.
