I went to Brainshare again this year, and saw some great new features
for the upcoming ZEN 7 I figured I would report here. Below are just
three of the biggest things I remember that had to do with Imaging

1.) THE END OF "CAN SOMEONE COMPILE AN IMAGING DRIVER FOR ME" HELL.
Starting with ZEN 7, Novell/Suse will be adding a new fork to the
official Suse builds. The new fork will be a version of Suse that will
be used for the Imaging CD (and I assume PXE). What this means is that
you can run an identical version of Suse on your desktop and compile new
drivers and use 'em with ZEN Imaging!

2.) Novell rewrote the PXE stuff instead of licensing it from PreWorks,
so now you can edit the PXE Menus and add new boot images and menus as
needed.

3.) ZEN 7 Imaging will support EXT2/EXT3 and ReiserFS file systems so
you can backup and restore Linux images.
