All 400 users will eventually be on client32-less workstations. The main
function of the MT server will be the NAL.

Drives will be mapped via Native File Access (CIFS), Printing will be via
iPrint, home drives will be via iFolder and all workstation policies and
inventory will run via the ZEN client with AD as the primary authenticator.

So as far as I can see it will only be used for app installs via the NAL,
which will be opened through the corporate intranet or on system startup.

Is the MT server doing anything else for the workstations in my particular
setup ?
