(This is the same as a post in the Server Management forum...)

We're about to embark on a grand experiment here :-) We are replacing
all of our aging Compaq servers with shiny new Dell servers, and in the
process we'll be upgrading to NW65. I'd also like to use this
opportunity to upgrade Zen for Desktops and Zen for Servers to the
latest version.

My preferred method of doing this would be to create a NW65 server image
using the pre-migration template, install Server Management 6.5 and
Desktop Management 6.5 components on the server, then use that image as
the across-the-wire-migration target. However, this will mean that
Server Management and Desktop Management would be installed in one tree,
then NDS removed and put in the new tree. What issues can I expect from
this, and what is the best way to go about it?
