I'm currently in the process of installing edirectory onto a Windows 2003
server which has 8GB of RAM. In order for Windows to recognise above 4gb of
memory microsoft advises to add a /3gb or /PAE switch to the boot.ini file
in order for the extra memory to be referenced. According to MS the Windows
products and Active Directory can natively support the extra memory without
causing any memory referencing problems .

Before enabling this switch MS recommends to check with the vendor to see
how much memory their products can natively handle. MS outline that there
could be memory addressing problems if the product can not handle Physical
Address Extension.

Does anyone know if Zenworks for Desktops can handle PAE and
large memory natively?

Thanks in advance.
