Novell does a pretty good job of glossing over how workstations end up,
and remain in the tree. For example, how does a workstation know if it's
in the tree --what's the unique identifier for it to know this? ethernet
address? Workstation SID, Workstation ID?

And what's the *definitive* source of this intelligence (i.e. does the
workstation keep this info in the workstation registry?) where?

The documentation and the Zenworks 6.5 book that was just released does
a pretty good job of glossing over the behind the scenes stuff.

The reason I bring this up, is we occasionally have machines import
themselves twice, such as HMDCLAB9, then HMDCLAB911
