I've been pondering the idea of a best practices type forum. Not so
much a newsgroup, but something along the lines of www.coolsolutions.com
(which is not an official novell site).

The newsgroups here are mostly for help I can't get this to work, but
I'm thinking along the lines of "there's 15 ways to accomplish a task,
what are the best ways to do it depending on environment).

I'm not really sure the novell wiki is really a good tool for this,
because to be honest, it's just not that friendly to navigate. Maybe
that's just my opinion, but I don't feel that it is.

Just curious on what everyone things. I'd still have to come up with a
hosting/forum solution, but it's an idea I've been kicking around.

Typical question...

I have applications for Autodesk Autocad and Autodesk 3d studio Max. I
can make a folder object for each that have the same structure/name, or
I can make one folder object with the structure for everything and point
all of the applications to that. Each way seems to work fine, but there
may be pro/cons to these kind of things that I'm not aware of that you
don't find out about until a few months later and then you have to make
a major architectural change....
