With the ZfD 6.5 agent, you could put something like the following in
the Novell login script and it would install the agent just fine:

REGREAD "HKLM,SOFTWARE\Novell\ZENworks,Version"
if "%99" <= "6.5.0.12345" then begin
Write " "
Write "Installing ZENworks 6.5 Workstation Agent. Please Wait!!!"
Write " "
Write " Machine Will REBOOT SHORTLY!!!"
#\\server\vol1\zenapps\zfd65agent\instzfda.bat
ENDIF

Where the batch file looked like:

msiexec.exe /i g:\zenapps\ZfD65Agent\zfdagent.msi /qb ADDLOCAL="ALL"
STARTUP_APPWINDOW=1 NAL_SINGLE_TREE=1 ZENWORKS_TREE=MY_TREE
REBOOTPROMPT=Suppress

Everything was fine. I use the # instead of the @ because I WANT the
login script to stop and not take the user to the desktop while the WS
Agent is being installed.

However, with ZfD 7 & 7 SP1, if you do the above, you get a dialog that
comes up telling you that you have to close the login script window!!!
If I choose 'ignore' then it will continue and install the agent
correctly but I have to be there to click the 'ignore' button.

How can I get around this?

Thanks,

Dan
