Hi Folks,

Currently I have my inventory policy to run once the screen saver kicks in. That's not really optimal, since the PCs seem to re-inventory fairly frequently, and once a PC is deployed, they don't change much. Also, even though we enforce a screen saver, on some PCs they just don't start.

Instead I'm thinking of setting that to weekly. But can someone tell me if I schedule a PC to scan each Monday between 10 am - 2 pm, and the PC is not on during that time, does the scan run the next time the PCs starts or is the scan rescheduled for the following Monday.

I'm already using "below normal" scan priority" so users will not be impacted by a computer being "slow" due to the inventory process. (That award goes to Symantec and Patchlink!)
