We have a legacy Delphi Application that uses a Paradox file-based
database. It works fine in Vista when run from a local directory or
even a Windows 2003 Share, but when the Path for Paradox files are
located on a Netware 6.5 SP6 server, and using the Novell Client for
Vista 1.0, the application gives this error:

Unhandled exception at 0x77aafcac in AIM-1922.exe: 0xC0000005: Access
violation writing location 0x00030e84.

Its not a permission issue, as Windows XP clients run from the same
location just fine.

The only other weird thing I noticed, was when I was originally trying
to do the install of the legacy app from the Netware volume, which was
mapped as the R: drive, I got the error below. For some reason, it
looks like Vista is providing the UNC path instead of the mapped
location to the app. However, it does this from the Windows share as
well, so its probably some Windows function that has changed.

AIM is setup to run from R:\AIM\ but you are trying to set it up to
Please correct this network drive mapping.
