We recently had one of our laptops stolen. The user is worried about the
data on the laptop's hard drive. The OS is Windows XP sp2 with Netware
Client 4.91 sp2. There are probably a lot of tools out there that can get
someone access the data on the drive, but I assume that a novice user or
petty thief would have a very difficult time trying to get logged into the
laptop - even in safe mode. IMHO the NW Client was always more secure than
the windows login, is still the case? Finally, does anyone have a "Brief"
description of the security level of the NW Client that I could give to
the user that could help calm them down? Any additional thoughts or
comments would be appreciated. Thanks, LOU
