Has anyone seen anything like this. We use TIVOLI Storage Manager to
do our backups. We have noticed that in doing restores some of the
restored files are bad. By bad I mean there is no physical data in the
file. If you look with a binary editor all you see are binary zeros.
The size, date, time, of the restored file and the original match. The
data is good in the original file. Now if you do another save another
random number of files will be saved bad. Looking back we cannot see
this problem before SP5. There is no indication that anything is going
wrong during the save process. We have confirmed that the problem is
not with the tapes or tape drives. If I restore from the disk storage
pool before migrating the data to tapes, the problem remains.

any ideas??
