Hi All,

I've got a Netware 6.5 SP5 server. It's running on a Dell Poweredge 2650
with 2 GB of RAM. HT is disabled in the BIOS.

I've got a few issues with the NDPS manager. When I'm troubleshooting a
printer problem (more on that later) and I need to shutdown and re-start a
printer agent the NDPS Manager acts like it's hung. The NDPS manager
screen freezes and the server utilization rises to 80-90%. The NDPSM_MAIN
thread is what's sucking up all the CPU cycles.

There's nothing special about this printer. It's setup using the Novell
SNMP gateway - printing to the LPR port on the printer.

I've deleted and recreated the printer agent - it didn't help.

Later today I'm going to attempt a repair on the NDPS database, in hopes
that it helps.

Does anyone have any other ideas? I hesitate to try SP6 as it's caused
major problems with other servers that we own.
