OES2 (Linux):
I am currently implementing an rsync backup solution and I am using NSS snapshots to store previous versions of the files.

Everything works, except I have to use nssmu to create the snapshots. I want to automate the creation of the snapshots so I can script weekly/monthly snapshots that don't require user interaction.

The Novell Documentation says there are only command line commands available for netware...

<Rant>
Come on... It's Linux... everything should be scriptable! Are you kidding me on this one?
</Rant>

Anyone with any possible workarounds? I thought of a possible application that could pass keystrokes into the nssmu.

Anyone with inside knowledge if there are plans to create command line utilities that would facilitate the creating/mounting/deleting of snapshots?

API? Can I write my own program that uses an API?

Thanks,
Paul
