We are in the process of pushing Zen 10 into production and I'm concerned
about having enough horsepower to manage the clients (Granted hardware
requirements change as we use more of the available functionality in
Zenworks). We have 3,000 clients and a single Zenworks server with two 3.0
Gh Xeon (dual core) processors, 4 GB of memory, and storage that sits on a
SAN. The install requirements mention appropriate processor speed and
memory capacity but fail to mention client capacity. We've had problems
in the past with the NetWare server tipping over when it was pushing out
images to more than 50 clients.

Is there a general "rule of thumb" when determining client capacity per

Thanks in advance,
