The scenario is that everything on a Two NetWare Server network crashes.
On reboot, everything recovers OK except for the Primary Server, which suffers serious hardware failure.
How can I ensure all users are still able to log into the network (with login scripts & trustee rights etc) and continue to have access to those resources located on the Secondary Server, pending repair of the Primary Server ?
I understand that I can use intelligent server mapping in the login scripts such as:
MAP S:=%FILE_SERVER/SUPPORT:
MAP M:=%FILE_SERVER/MAIL:
MAP G:=%FILE_SERVER/DATA:
However, under these circumstances, can the users still login and will they find this system login script and be able to access resources on the secondary server ?
