I've been tweaking our startup.ncf file on one server because we went
from direct connected fiber san with a single hba to dual hba through
switches. When I load the perc2.ham driver before all other ham drivers,
the server hangs at processing stage 1 of NLMs. The perc 2 card is for
the internal raid array, where the sys volume lives. The only way to get
the server to load is by placing the perc2 load line after the hba
cards. The startup.ncf currently looks like this:

#LOAD ACPIDRV.PSM
######## End PSM Drivers ########
LOAD IDECD.CDM
LOAD SCSIHD.CDM
#LOAD QLCSFTE.CDM
######## End CDM Drivers ########
LOAD ADPT160M.HAM SLOT=101
LOAD ADPT160M.HAM SLOT=102
LOAD IDEATA.HAM SLOT=10009
#LOAD PEDGE3.HAM SLOT=1
LOAD POWPATH.CDM
LOAD QL2X00.HAM SLOT=2 /LUNS /ALLPATHS /PORTNAMES /QUALIFIED /MAXLUNS=15
LOAD QL2X00.HAM SLOT=3 /LUNS /ALLPATHS /PORTNAMES /QUALIFIED /MAXLUNS=15
LOAD PERC2.HAM SLOT=10019
######## End HAM Drivers ########

Does this make any sense? I suppose as long as it works, it's fine but
I'd like to know if it points to another configuration issue. The
servers are running NW 6.5 SP6. Thanks.
