At the school i work for, we have a Netware 6.5 SP6 server with a 4Tb
volume on a Equal Logic SAN attached to it. Until a few weeks ago, there
were 450 Windows XP cliŽnts and 350 Apple OSX 10.4 cliŽnts attached to the
server, students save their work on the SAN volume. This situation was
running quit well. We have now expanded the amount of Apple's to 450 and
after that, the server's performance is very bad. Every few hours we have
to stop AFPTCP with the afpstop command and restart AFPTCP with afpstrt
command where we have limmited the threads to max 4. The server is a HP
DL360 with 3,5Gb RAM and a 3.6Ghz Intel Xeon processor. Does anyone know a
solution for the slow performance on the Apple's?
