Hi,

Last week I upgraded a OES1-Server to OES2 by installing the OS from
scratch and connecting the server to a new NDS. On a second
harddisk-partition I had an existing NSS-Pool and Volume which I found
easily in iManager and imported it to new NDS. Everything was working
fine. Today I activated automatic updates and installed all the update
necessary. After the reboot, the pool "DATA" was not found anymore.
The errormessage in /var/log/messages is:
Nov 12 18:18:45 pgg-w-fs01 kernel: NSSLOG ==> [Error] comnVol.c[2985]
Nov 12 18:18:45 pgg-w-fs01 kernel: Nov 12, 2007 6:18:45 pm

and or type NSS /volumes and

Nov 12 18:18:45 pgg-w-fs01 kernel: Volume Change State failed. Error =

when I try to access the device in iManager by clicking on sdb the
highlight jumps back to sda, I cannot see the partitions on the disk.
When I access the disk in nssmu I see partitions, when I list the
partitions I can see the partition, I see the pool,...
I tried to uninstall the only patch which had to do with nss, no change.
A second Pool is active, but unfortunatly this pool is not in production.
Has anybody an idea?
How can I uninstall patches? I would like to try to uninstall all the
patches and see if the error persists.
thanks in advance
