facts:

iFolder 3.6 on OES2 SLES - this is the OES version of iFolder server/clients - not the open source version from ifolder.com
Windows XP SP2 fully patched with .NET1.1 and .NET2

Issue:

1) if I attempt to right-click on a desktop folder and select "Convert to an iFolder" - I get the following error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.
InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelectedIndex'.
Parameter name: SelectedIndex

The Exception Text reads:

System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelectedIndex'.

When I press the Continue button, the New iFolder dialog box appears and the Server: field is empty as is its pulldown.

2) If I use the iFolder client and press the Upload a folder... button - I get the following error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.
Object reference is not set to an instance of an object.

The Exception Text reads:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference is not set to an instance of an object.
At Novell.FormsTrayApp.GlobalProperties.menuCreate_Cl ick(Object sender, EventArgs e)

3) Just attempting to get the iFolder client started is a pain. When I set up a new account from the client, the Connecting... dialog box stays up until it errors out with:

Unable to Connect to iFolder Server
An error was encountered while connecting to the iFolder server.
The operation has timed out

Oddly enough - the web interface works just fine...

My guess - firewall. What ports are required to be open for iFolder to function?
