This is my monthly reminder to perform a self check for lumps and it's
a bad thing today. I just receieved word that a man I served with while
on patrol gunboats in Viet Nam died last night. Cancer has claimed
another friend. He had yearly checkups and it was detected, but just a
little too late. Out of the 22 of us who survived, 6 have died of
cancer. Odds are that Agent Orange is to blame and it gets frustrating
that early detection is key. With so many us in a high risk group
you'd think more attention to health would occur.

No need for sympathy, just do the checks. %^((
