When a plan comes together.

I needed to monitor a file on the web to see when and what changes have been
made to it. Being a bit a of a shell hack I thought I would make my own web
scraper script. Set it up to scan the file every 4 hours and this morning
results are better than expected. Eggscellent!!!

Here is an example output...

1852,1867d1851
< flash-player.rpm
< This update of flash-player applys more strict access rules to IPC
structures.
< clamav-db.rpm
< This version upgrade to 0.92 fixes numerous flaws including some
< security problems (CVE-2007-6335, CVE-2007-6336, CVE-2007-6337).
<
< Please note that the version number of the clamav library has
< changed. Programs linked against libclamav therefore need to be
< updated as well.

And I found out my clamav needs updating before having to scan the log files
to determine that. Brilliant.

Willing to share script if interested....
