Hey, Shaun...

I thought I would try to get down to one "conversation" involving my issues
with Group Policies.

OK, here's where I am right now. I have attached a Word 2003 document that
has screen shots of a lot of what I am seeing and the logs from the last
time I rebooted.

1. I have two group policies, one for the user and one for the workstation.
The user policy is assigned to a group I am a member of. The workstation
policy is assigned to a group my desktop computer is assigned to. Screen
shots 1 & 2.

2. I have pulled up the Novell Desktop Management and I have a screen shot
(#3) of what I have showing up for me. As you can see, all the ones that I
have defined have run today at approx. 12:30pm, which is when I rebooted the
last time. Please note: the Action policy Run NAL Explorer did start the NAL
explorer like it suppose to but while the other two claim to have run the
Windows Group Policies, I don't buy it. Also, the last scan of the inventory
was also around 12:30 so I think that ran fine as well.

3. I used your template to define the First Network Drive as G. (Screen Shot
4) It has been like this for several weeks.

4. I reinstalled my Novell Client about 2 weeks ago and at that time, I
assume the First Drive Letter setting was reset to F. (Screen Shot 5) There
has been several opportunities to change that to the policy setting.

Let me know if you see anything in all this mess.

Happy Holidays, Shaun... I will be off tomorrow because of Christmas. I'll
be back on Wednesday.
