I am not sure if this is an edirectory issue or a client issue.

I am have a problem trying to access a folder's effective rights through
the NetWare client. When I attempt to display the current effective
rights of a trustee I frequently receive the message "cannot retrieve
effective rights" followed by the User and Path. Users are not
experiencing problems accessing the files on the server nor do the rights
seem corrupted.

The problematic server is a Netware 6.5 SP7 machine running a Netware 5
traditional file system. The client version is 4.91 SP4 and the
eDirectory version is 8.8SP2.

I have not been able to find much info about this problem online. Could
someone provide advice on how to best investigate the problem? TIA
