We are experiencing problems with DFS links on a NetWare 6.5sp6 server
in testing a setup that worked perfectly in our development environment

The server has three volumes, eg "DATA:", "DATA1:" and "DATA2:", there
is a DFS link from DATA:DIR\DATA1 to DATA1: then from

When a Windows client attempts to navigate through the DFS links we
receive the dialog box stating:

Disk is not formatted
Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it
could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows.

Searching TIDs only seems to show up 10099205 [1], which states that the
server does not exist under the management context. Does not apply in
our case, since the VLDB exists, has two replicas (one on the server
itself) and the server *is* in the management context.

If you retry five or ten times, then eventually you can pass the first
DFS link to the subdirectory, then have to go through the same thing
once you want to traverse the second DFS link.

Any suggestions?
