I added a 500Gb IDE hard drive. I've used the hard drive on other machines--I know it works fine (well, at least with windows). It's internal. I have all the master/slave jumpers set correctly. nssmu sees the drive just fine. I add it to an existing pool and now the volume is 900+Gb (3 separate IDE hard drives). All seems OK--I can copy some files to/from the volume.

When running my backup program (Arcserve), I get bus free phase timeout errors--the volume gets dismounted, the drive gets deactivated (2 of them, actually). I reboot and then volume comes back but then the next backup . . .

Any help? NW 6.5.5 (but I'll install sp7 soon). arcserve 11.1 with updates.
