We use SLES10 and OES2 with edir and ifolder. This system was installed
from scratch with OES2 disc. Every since OES2, our multi-user worpress
sites are extremely slow. We also get this in the rewrite log:
[07/Jan/2008:22:44:16 --0500]
[www.mytimewithgod.net/sid#801ba340][rid#818e34f0/initial] (1) [perdir
/srv/www/htdocs/sites/MTwG/] internal redirect with /index.php [INTERNAL
I also have seen this in the site error log:
[Mon Dec 10 06:03:58 2007] [error] [client] Request exceeded
the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error.
Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use
'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace.

I have asked this on the apache mailinglist and they say this is a "loop"
and to look in the rewrite log, which i posted above. I am thinking it has
to do with the default OES2 install and our htaccess:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /

#uploaded files
RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/$ index.php [L]
RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-content/blogs.php?file=$2 [L]

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
RewriteRule . - [L]
RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?(wp-.*) $2 [L]
RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?(.*.php)$ $2 [L]
RewriteRule . index.php [L]

Can anyone help in this issue?
