I have been having all kinds of problems with creating NSS volumes on this Linux box!! I am learning as I go since resources are extremely limited. I open NSSMU in the terminal. I then click on Devices. I have sda and sdb. Partitions I have sda1(swap), sda2(SYS), and sdb1(free). If I try to create a pool it tells me: There are no partitions available to create a pool. It won't allow me to delete the sdb1 partition (invalid argument) so I am basically stuck with my thumb in places I'd rather not say. I have tried using iManager but it will not even show the devices or anything on the Linux box...getting the following error: This user does not have the correct credentials to authenticate to the CIMOM client. I am the frigging admin to the tree!!!
I am using Netware 6.5sp7 on all servers and one SLES 10.1 server. iManager 2.7. Would really like to get some help in this.
