We use zen 7 middle tier without a novell client.

We have laptops that a users will log onto offline when not connected to the
domain. However they will always get presented with the middle tier logon
screen as it cannot authenitcate to e-dir as the laptop is not connected to
the network.

What is the best way to deal with this happening? I would like to get the
logon process to skip the authentication to middle tier if offline so when
logged into the desktop, NAL will work offline?

Using DisablePassiveMode is not an option (TID 3604396) as zwsreg.dll needs
to run during the middle tier logon process as the users will belong to the
local user group - I understand as users you cannot run zwsreg.exe as the
user does not have permissions to the registry.

Any help would be appreciated
