.... did a clean installation SLES10SP2 + OES2 (64) including DMS/DHCP.
Everything was installed without any error messages.
Anyway - I cant start DHCPServer.

Error: Cannot find LDAP entry matching (&(objectClass=dhcpServer
Configuration file errors encountered -- exiting ...

This is my /etc/dhcpd.conf file

ldap-server "";
ldap-port 636;
ldap-ssl on;
ldap-base-dn "ou=mydepartment,o=mycompany";
ldap-method dynamic;
ldap-debug-file "/var/log/dhcp-ldap-startup.log";
ldap-dhcp-server-cn "DHCP_TARGET";
ldap-referrals off;
ldap-tls-reqcert never;

The config file was not modified manually.
As fas as I can see all necessary objects have been created.
LDAP also works properly.

iManager 2.7 was installed automaticly with the OES installation.
Unfortunately the DNS/DHCP buttons on the left didn't come with the
installation. The Plugins are installed. Admin is also owner of all
roles that are needed. Sop I'm unable to do any configuration changes on
DNS/DHCP objects.
The DHCP object is planned to get used as a cluster object - but i think
it should run first before i move it to a cluster volume.

What's going wrong?

Thanx ... M.
