change operators and managers en masse?

My tree has 670 printers in it (give or take). Today alone I created 20
    more printer objects.

Is there a way that I can change operators or managers of a whole group
of printer objects at one time? I'm looking at adding operators for 15
printers right now, and the only shortcut I can think of is to add the 4
people to a group so I only have to add one operator rather than 4.

Is there any tool or trick to making mass changes? Looking thru the
tree, I see lots of cleanup that needs to be done in those roles.

    Thanks!

    Tim,

I guess Quick for NDS should be able to do that:

I just tried using pnadd. We are running iPrint on linux and this command does not find any ndps printers. Are printers not recognized as ndps printers anymore?

No. NDPS and iPrint only ressemble each other from the client point of
view. The backend is however completely different and the object types
    used as well.

When using pnadd be careful of your context.

Or you can run with the /x /r which says scan all subcontainers from the root.

Not that I'd want to recommend one 3rd party product over any other, but JRB's pnadd utility is what we use for our bulk printer admin tasks.

I thought iPrint just adds an extra layer to access the whole NDPS system.

On NetWare yes. However for Linux, Novell decided not to implement NDPS
functionality at all. So on Linux, iPrint was implemented without the
    underlying NDPs layer.
