We are likely going to be implementing ZCM 10 in our environment in the near future and I'm wondering about the intel iAMT and vPro technologies. I haven't really heard a lot about these until just recently so I really don't know a lot about them, so bear with me.

From what I've read on AMT, it looks like it's just a hardware based method for ZCM (or another systems management system) to identify a system even after parts have been replaced or the drive fails.

I read that ZCM will soon be supporting vPro, however it looks like AMT support is already built in. Does anyone have any recommendations on if we should order our next batch of new PCs with vPro or with iAMT? What kind of added benefits would we get by using either one?

Would greatly appreciate any thoughts or recommendations.

Thanks in advance.
