I've got a minor problem in that the RESOLV.CFG file on many of my
production servers cannot be updated. Checking the file in MONITOR shows
that the connection 0 is performing Task 80 and the file shows as not
locked and not logged. I can clear this by a quick dismount/remount of
the SYS volume but does anyone know what causes this file to become locked
so regularly? I've seen this happen from time to time with other system
files but never this consistently. This is happening on both NetWare 5.1
SP8 and NetWare 6.5 SP5 servers.

I've already tested unloading any antivirus, OFA agents, backup processes
and such but nothing seems to have an effect on the file and it really
looks like a system level lock.
