I have two OES2 VM's running in ESX 3.0.1. In response to guidance from this newsgroup I corrected the problem I had with time running too fast on the VM's (used the clock-pit kernel parameter); however one of the VM's now needs some help getting set at boot time. Once it gets the correct time the combination of VMWare Tools and clock=pit seems to keep it in sync.

I was thinking of running an NTPDate at boot time, but wanted to know if there's a better idea.
