I recently moved our BorderManager services from an older server to a newer one. Essentially I installed Netware 6.5 SP7 and Novell BorderManager 3.8 SP5 onto a new server from scratch.

Everything on the new server is operating just as on the old server with one exception; We use the transparent proxy feature of BorderManager to redirect clients that have not logged in to eDirectory/client trust to authenticate to the proxy. However, we obviously enter IP address exceptions for things like our public web server that is NATd through BM so that the outgoing traffic from the web server doesn't get stopped by the transparent proxy.

This had been working just fine on the previous server. However, apparently entering the IP address of our internal web server in the transparent proxy exception list is having no effect now. The only way I've been able to allow our web server traffic out through BM is to disable the transparent proxy feature all together.

Here's the basic info on the server config...

Novell Netware 6.5 SP7
Novell BorderManager 3.8 SP5 Patch 1
eDirectory 8.8 SP2 SMP
TCPIP nlm patch

Any help on this issue would be appreciated.
