We have our NSS pools mirrored across two SANs for data redudancy purposes. We're in the process of returning one of the SANs and then getting a new one. So my question is what is the safest way to break the mirror? I was planning on removing the LUNs that hold the file space from the server so that they'll appear offline to the server and the mirror will be then be out of sync. I was then going to remove the offline RAID segment. I tested this and ran into some issues. Also, I'll be putting a new mirror in after this so I want to make sure I can still do that. Any advice?
