I've got issues on 2 servers i migrated from NW65 to OES2 (x86_64)
running on a HP ml350G5 with 10 GB of RAM and a HP dl360 G3 with 4 GB of RAM.

From time to time the servers just lock and nss volumes, edir and even the login terminal (tty)cannot be reached. It looks like a memory problem (leak or misconfiguration) concerning the cache balance between nss and kernel memory. I suspect this is not configured correctly by default.

My question is :
I understood on the 64bit systems all memory above 4GB is addressed to nss cache, so is it necessary to use cache memory from the kernel pool for nss caching ? Can it be disabled or isn't this a wise thing to do?
