running sles10 sp1 kernel 2.6.16.54-0.2.5-default. running as guest in
ESX3.5.

i am not sure if a patch broke something or if it was our esx 302 to 35
upgrade and sles is not behaving properly(our redhat boxes have no
issues).

anyway i am constantly getting these errors in my /var/log/
messages...usually after a couple of them vmware tools will kerplode.

i originally thought i had a big edir problem, as lots of my edir boxes
were coring and i went chasing down that path for several weeks with
ftf's and memory changes. recently when a box that had just been
installed was sitting around and i noticed vmware tools no longer running
i dug deeper.

has anyone that is running a fully patches sles10 with esx35 see this? i
am running the latest tools as well. the linux installs are pretty
basic,,,,seems like lots of people were reporting this problem in the 2.4
kernel release. i may try to backrev to the kernel from SP1, the kernel
has been updated once since SP1. just pulling me hair out looking for any
advice. thanks!
