Hi all,

The following problems are with Vista SP1 with Novel Client Update 4, and NW Server 6.5.
When I log into Vista through the Novell login (contextless login enabled), I get logged on fine, but then a message appears:

MYTREE
You are already logged in to the network as user ID240.
Do you still want to log in as .ID240.MyOrganization?

If I click YES the message appears:
The system could not log you into the network.
Make sure you name and connection information are correct, then type your password again.

If I click NO, then the Novell login prompt appears.
I type in the same contextless user/pass and the same error appears.
However, if I try to type in a FQ context (which then gives an error when I tab away from the field) and then reenter the contextless user, I get logged in!

My actual context is .ID240.staff.CS.westsite.MyOrganization
ID240 only exists in this context, and nowhere else, therefore the account .ID240.MyOrganization does not exist.

This is the result of the login script after one failed login from the above method, then a successful one (using the fudged "NO" method):

You are attached to server WEST-DIR.
Your current context is staff.CS.westsite.MyOrganization
The user specified does not exist in this context.
Login will try to find the user in the server context.
SERVERS.westsite.MyOrganization
LOGIN-LGNWNT32-895: The user does not exist in the specified context.

You are attached to server WEST-DIR.
Your current context is staff.CS.westsite.MyOrganization
User: ID240 Context: staff.CS.westsite.MyOrganization
Your current tree is: MYTREE
You are attached to server WEST-DIR.
Your context has been changed to: staff.CS.westsite.MyOrganization
..processes login script correctly

There was a post that relates to my topic (http://forums.novell.com/novell-prod...ble-login.html) but is slightly different from my issue.

Thanks for any posts to assist!
