The rotlogs.nlm program knows how to rotate the Apache logs but it doesn't know how to limit the number of rotated copies of the logs. I must manualy delete old rotated log files or they will fill my disk. I want to automate this. Novell documentation says that another process is need for this automation but doesn't offer any suggestions.

The rotated logs have a file extension consisting of a date/time stamp instead of the usual simple sequential numbers you find on typical UNIX/Linux systms. This makes some sort of script more than trivial to write. Has anyone solved this problem?
