MS SQL rights??
My DB-admin is reluctant to let me use ‘sa’ when connecting GMS to ‘his’ SQL DB. He wants to create a ‘stripped’ user for me. The user is ‘DB-OWNER’ and in regular day-to-day usage, this works fine. Now I’m trying to upgrade to SP3, but receives a error in the ‘Install Environment Analyzer’.
The error claims that my user is not allowed to write to the master database, and that the user cannot create a new database..
What rights must my sql-login user have?
Why does an upgrade to SP3 create a new database..
Does anyone know what changes SP3 does to the DataBase? (The DB-Admin really would like to know……)
