Kathy and I attended the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival with our RV club
in Mount Vernon this past weekend. Imagine our surprise (SHOCK!) when
we found ourselves piloting our 10 ton motorhome through a white out on
Friday night! Some white knuckle driving to be sure! While we were
driving through it, our friends that were already at the park where we
were to be staying called to say that it was dry and sunny there. Well,
we all got it Saturday night and Sunday morning at the park (about two
inches). Oh, there weren't very many tulips to be seen. Our area was
breaking records all over the place (coldest temp recorded, latest snow
ever recorded).
