Re: Mem fragmentation?
I made changes to a new server referred to in the ""Mem framentation?" thread, and I'm still monitoring it.

However, I just upgraded a cluster 60sp5 server to 65sp6, and this shows up on the logger screen:

"NWMKDE-2120: L2 cache is not initialized. L1 134217728 bytes current availabe memory 1001771008 bytes; physical memory 4026110976 size :Error id 2."

This server was running arcserve so it had btrieve 8.50. The upgrade, changed it to btrieve 7.x and started getting "Loader cannot find public symbol" errors, so i ran the arcserve unzip tool and upgraded btrieve back to 8.50.
*I left the bti.cfg with defaults, the only thing i changed was "MaxCacheUsage=10
*I changed the "set File Cache Maximum Size=2147483648"
*Edited smsstart.ncf to Load TSAFS /CacheMemoryThreshold=1 and rebooted server,
but its still displaying this in logger screen:
"NWMKDE-2120: L2 cache is not initialized. L1 16777216 bytes current availabe memory 1605210112 bytes; physical memory 4026110976 size :Error id 2.

What does L2 cache is not initialized mean?
Any clues what to do here? I haven't and i don't plan to run arcserve on this server any more. So what are the optimum btrieve settings? this seems to be a problem with btreive 8 because the other cluster node runing btreive 7.x does not have this problem.

attached is the bit.cfg for this server.
Please advise.
thanx
